Last weekend, James and I went to the DFW Metroplex to visit my sister and her family. We hadn’t seen their new house yet and Sarah wanted to scrapbook with me. Plus, Brian and his two sisters were throwing a big birthday bash for their parent’s 60th birthdays and Sarah needed a sitter for Cameron since he couldn’t go on the party boat at Lake Grapevine. I have to say, it was the easiest baby-sitting job I’ve ever done. James and I played with Cameron in his play room. Then we ate dinner, which if you read Sarah’s blog, you know that Cameron is a good eater. Then we took a walk along the trail in the greenbelt behind their house. Then I read him two stories and put him to bed. James and I then spent the next few hours watching movies in their home theater room.
Cameron really liked my shape stencils in my scrapbooking bag. He even played with them the next day. Hopefully, I’ll get around to adding the journaling on the four pages I scrapbooked while visiting and post those in a later post.
I’m glad you enjoyed baby-sitting Cameron (and that it was easy). He looks like he had a great time with y’all. How many times did he open and close the back of that train? That is his favorite thing to do – open it, put stuff in, close it, open it, take stuff out, close it…I’ll have to get copies of those pictures from you. I really like the last one.
