On Tuesday, Jessica had an ultrasound performed on her hips. This is a common precautionary test for breech babies. She slept the entire time, even with that cool gel. The ultrasound technicians said it would be nice if more babies were that calm. Below is a picture taken after they finished the test. We found out the result and everything is normal. On a side note, Dell Children’s Hospital is really well laid out.
I don’t know how she scoots herself down and at a 45° angle in the crib, but somehow she does.
When I set her in the crib after changing her diaper, so I can wash my hands, I’ve been setting her so she can look in her mirror and it keeps her happy.
I can tell she’s growing because the newborn clothing is getting too small, well mainly too short. See the below photo. She’s at the maximum length before it gets too short, although she still has a little ways to go before it gets too tight.
Jessica is such a happy baby. Very infrequently does she get really upset. Although she still doesn’t like baths. We’re hoping that will change.
Sometimes when we go on walks, she is awake and alert, watching the bugs hanging from the stroller/carrier handler. Other times, as seen in the below photo, she sleeps the entire walk.

I love all the pictures!! She will start to like her bathsoon, then she won’t ever want to get out:)
Adorable!
I like the picture of her smiling on the couch.
She is so adorable and has really grown since I was there. We can’t wait to see her. Glad her checkup went well. You and James are doing a great job of parenting. She looks good in the bright pink.
Love, Mom
Dawson says she looks looks like super baby in the picture of her laying on the quilt in the floor.
Love, Dawson
She is really getting big…I can’t wait til her and Aspen can start playing with each other
Me neither. The play dates will be so much fun.
