However, it's more of an issue when you rinse the diaper cover and hit it at just the right angle. So splatter isn't a concern every time. Yes, you do have to watch for splatter. But I imagine the diaper sprayer could handle it. It has a lot pressure. I do just toss in the pail when they're wet from pee or diaper sprayer and I haven't had any issues with mildew. I throw the whole thing in the washer, pail liner and all.
