Our friend Justin came to visit this past weekend. His birthday was last week, so I wanted to make him a birthday card. This card was made for the ATS Wednesday Challenge 21 to use green. I think the idea behind the challenge was for the upcoming St. Patrick’s day, but I thought this was perfect challenge for Justin’s birthday card as his favorite color is green. I used the Our Creative Corner sketch from last week as the starting point to layout the card, but I changed it up slightly since this was going to be a card for a guy. I didn’t want to use a decorative edge.
I ended up making two cards, since I couldn’t quite decide how I wanted to color Riley and his car. I actually let Justin pick which card he wanted to receive and he chose the green car. The green car has glossy accents all over the car, while the blue car just has glossy accents on the tires and lights of the car.
