My house is currently a madhouse. We only have 5 more days of packing left before we close on selling our house. Then a few days rest at an Extended Stay America hotel before we close on our new house.
Surprisingly, I got one last card made before the move made it impossible. I had hoped to get to Jen del Muro’s April Sketch for You to Try and I made it. I’m trying to do each month’s sketch so I have a chance at the big prize in December. She had it as a square card, but I prefer the A2 size, so I squeezed the sketch to fit. I also decided to go for the purple and teal color challenge for Phindy’s Friday Challenge #51. The image is a cute digital image I picked up Bodil’s Scrappeverden.
Stamps: Bodil’s Scrappeverden 8
Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Taken with Teal
Designer Paper: DCWV Nana’s Kids (purple polka dots); Stampin’ Up Sweet Pea
Ink: Dell printer
Embellishments: glitter brads
Tools: Stampin’ Up markers
Here’s my craft space currently. The bookcase that was next to the table and all the stamps, paper, etc. on it have been packed up. Some stuff ended up on the table top so I still have a bit more packing to do. Hopefully, once my craft space is re-established in our new house, it will be even better. Maybe I’ll have to share some pics.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day.
I’d love to see your new craft space. In fact I would love to see some posts on your whole new house once you get settled:) Have fun and good luck with the moves! So excited for you guys!
What an adorable card. You’ve done a beautiful job on the Purple & Teal Challenge over at Phindy’s Place. I’m so glad you joined us this week, we hope to see you playing along with us again next week. =)
Hugs,
Lynda
Great clean and simple card. Your purple and teal papers are terrific so this works so well for our challenge at Phindy’s Place. Thanks for joining us.
Hugs!

The two colors are pretty together, and of course, purple is my favorite color. You did a great job putting it together. The puppy is so cute helping with the ribbon. We are looking forward to coming in June and seeing you and James amd Jessica and your new home.

Adorable! Super sweet image and fantastic take on the April SFYTT!
Very cool! I bet your daughter has a really cute room! If you are ever looking for a new cross stitch project, I have one for you–it has to do with genealogy, of course, but it’s for moms with daughters!
