On Saturday, I shared the cards I made for Jessica’s two teachers. Today, I am sharing the little survival kits that included the cards. I also included a travel-size hand sanitizer, a travel pack of Kleenexes, a little tin of Altoids (not the full-size tin), some lip balm, and some Hershey’s chocolate nuggets. If I had all my crafty stuff completely unpacked, I might have made something more elaborate than a bag topper for these survival kits. But, hey now that I’m getting eight hours of week of me time while Jessica is at Mother’s Day Out, maybe I’ll get finished unpacking stuff.
I used the pencil digi-stamp I received for participating in last week’s Hambo Hoedown. That is the great thing about digi-stamps, you can use them in multiple sizes. I’m entering these kits in this week’s Hambo Hoedown Challenge #30, which is to make a school-themed creation using primary colors of red, yellow and blue. Unfortunately, I forgot about the primary colors part of the challenge when coloring it up last night, but the survival kit for Ms. Lacy is close enough to primary, I think it will count. I’m also entering the kits in the following challenges: Stamp Something to make a back to school something; Just Us Girls Challenge #99 to make a 3-D back to school project; and Paper Pretties Monday Challenge #6 to make a back to school project.Stamps: Hambo Stamps Pencil
Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Whisper White
Ink: Dell printer
Tools: Prismacolor colored pencils

Have a fabulous day!
I love this idea….really super cute and a great use of the Hambo pencil image 🙂 thank you for playing in the hoedown!
I make survival kits for my students which include a pencil, a bookmark, and a snack. I wish someone would make one like this for me! So thoughtful! Thanks for playing our JUGs challenge!
What a good idea for Jessica’s teachers. They will enjoy them. You have such good ideas.
