Last Friday Connie Prince released the latest in her Project Life style series. Project 2015 July has red, white and blue and patriotic elements for both the USA and Canada, plus it has a lot of summer elements. I love the grass strip. You can pick it up all of Connie’s stores.

I decided to scrap some photos from last July. I went to the Blues on the Green event at Zilker Park with some of my MOPS friends. It was a lot of fun. I want to go back this year. I think I want to make it a date night for the August 5th date.

The Good Life Vol. 12

Here’s my layout. It uses template 3, that I modified a fair amount. This is the first page from the fun photo scavenger hunt my MOPS group had last week. I’ll be making at least one page with all the photos we took during the hunt.

Book Nerd

To me, reading is an adventure you take with your imagination. So it came as no surprise that I LOVE Queen Wild Scraps’ latest release, Book Nerd. It has lots of great book elements, like that awesome bookshelf. There are fun quote strips. And the color scheme is super fun.

She’s playing along with this month’s Photo Editing Challenge at SNP.

Kristal has a cute layout about the books her daughters received for Christmas.Lyndee is playing along with the new challenge called Inspired by Pinterest. Recognize that template? It’s the same one Jennifer and Kendra used. Great minds think alike, yet make totally unique layouts. Teresa is playing along with the photo editing challenge also. Tina has three layouts to inspire. Five Layouts

I realized I have a back log of layouts I haven’t shared here on my blog yet, so here are a number of them in no particular order.

This layout features Janette on her first day wearing her orthotic helmet.

I’m really happy with how this next layout, a speed scrap layout, turned out. I made it shortly after finding out my Dad had been diagnosed with cancer and I wanted to document how I am really my father’s daughter. It garnered me a layout of the day award at Scrapbookbytes.

Journaling reads: My Dad and I both enjoy taking photos and planning trips. I definitely know that my desire to type up an itinerary and label my photos comes from him. We also both like to read historical markers and look at maps. Out of all of my siblings, I am the only one who takes just as many photos of the architecture as my Dad. He’s always there when I need his advice. I can’t imagine life without him.

This layout was made during my photoshop techniques class. The technique was align and distribute, which I used on the title and subtitle.

This was another speed scrap layout. It’s interesting how for the most part my most recent vacation destinations are my favorite.
