Two Cards

Posted on April 4, 2010 by Jennifer

I got crafty Friday night. I started off thinking I would color this Cute Daisy May digi stamp for the Stamp Something challenge to make Pink Somethings. I had watched a tutorial by Chrissy Armstrong earlier that day regarding coloring and felt inspired to color. After I had the little girl all colored, I thought I’d find a sketch challenge and picked the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #107.

Something Pink Taylored Expressions Sketch Card

Stamps: Cute Daisy May shopping
Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel
Designer Paper: Stampin’ Up Love Me
Ink: Dell printer
Accessories: Maya Road Velvet Blossoms Air; Queen & Co Pearls white
Markers: Stampin’ Up Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Barely Banana

James was on call for work Saturday and he ended up getting called and going in shortly after Jessica went down for her afternoon nap, so I got crafty. I started off coloring Prince Ian blue and silver for the Lili of the Valley Challenge 50. Then I thought, this color scheme goes well with the Crazy 4 Challenges Challenge 31 to use kraft cardstock. Then I decided to tie it all together with The Sweet Shop Sketch 50. Don’t you like how his little vest and shoes sparkle? I also traced the sentiment after stamping so it would sparkle too.
