Express Yourself is this month’s SNP Store Collab. It is geared toward the art journaling style of scrapping.
Now art journaling isn’t really my style. In fact, when I found out that this month’s store collab was art journaling, I was actually a little disappointed. However, I decided to challenge myself and scrap outside of my comfort zone. It helped that I saw a layout on Facebook with word bits of the scrapper’s roles in life just a day before I picked up Express Yourself. That layout totally inspired me. This first layout was the result. And I have to say, maybe I’ll be a convert to art journaling yet. I really like how this turned out.

Then I decided I needed to see how Express Yourself could work for more traditional layouts. The result was this layout of my sweet nephew. I also used a template from the new Something Simple Vol. 2 template set by Queen Wild Scraps.
