Marvelous March
I love the colors Lahni chose for this month’s kit in her P52/365 series. They’re very soft and make me ready for Easter.
You can pick up both the kit and the template pack as a bundle. Everything on sale until next week.
Here’s some inspiration from the Wild Princesses.

On Monday, I asked what you knew about the Ides of March. Wikipedia is one of my favorite go-to sources for quick information. I learned that the Romans did not number days of a month sequentially from the first through the last day. Instead, they counted back from three fixed points of the month: the Nones (5th or 7th, depending on the length of the month), the Ides (13th or 15th), and the Kalends (1st) of the following month. The Ides occurred near the midpoint, on the 13th for most months, but on the 15th for March, May, July, and October. The Ides were supposed to be determined by the full moon, reflecting the lunar origin of the Roman calendar. Of course, the Ides of March is most well known for the “Beware the Ides of March” prophecy of the death of Julius Caesar. Out of the 4 comments, I used random.org to choose a winner.

Yesterday was the start of Grab-a-byte at Scrapbookbytes.com. Word Art World has six pieces you can pick up for $1 each. I used three of them.
Last October, we had a photo shoot with Kristie Woodworth Photography. I met Kristie at a Lonestar Shoebox Swap before Janette was born and she did Janette’s newborn photo shoot. This layout only has 3 of the photos from the shoot. The larger blended ones is one of my favorites from the shoot. I still have a few more layouts I want to do with the photos from the shoot and this kit.
Journaling reads: “October 13, 2012 Saturday morning, we headed to the state Capitol for a photo shoot with Kristie Woodworth Photography. The girls had fun. There was squirrel chasing, bubble catching, and lots of tickles to enjoy.”

I hope you’re having a great spring break. It has been all about family for us. James’ parents and our nephew Dawson visited this past weekend and left today. The girls and I are going to go visit my sister and her family tomorrow.
