A Few More Canadian Layouts
Today I’m sharing two more layouts for my parent’s Canadian Rockies trip. At the rate it is currently going, the album will probably have around 60-80 layouts.
This first one coordinates with the layout I shared last Tuesday.

Cousins
The first part of spring break, I took the girls to visit my sister and her family (James stayed home to continue his job search). Here’s a layout I made the first full day we were there. I made it Tuesday for a Speed Scrap and excitedly it was chosen as a Gallery Stand Out. Journaling reads: Both Trevor and Cameron were enamored with their baby cousin. Jessica wanted to make sure they knew Janette was her baby sister. And yes, Jessica didn’t want to wear clothes, about par for the course.

Beautiful Life
Today is release day for the newest kit by Amy’s Designs. Beautiful Life is a vintage, slightly worn, very spring kit with gorgeous colors. As usual, Amy has it on sale the first week.
I made two layouts to showcase the awesomeness of this kit. First up is a layout of my MOPS Mom’s Night Out. I’m loving MOPS. It is such a comforting place to be and it is so inspiring to be surrounded by awesome moms. Journaling reads: Our MOPS group coordinates a Mom’s Night Out the first Thursday of the month. This month we painted pottery at Cafe Monet. It was great to be artistic, relax and chat. Clockwise from top left: Summer, Dorothy, Jennifer M., Lindsee, Suzie, Jenny, and Jennifer K. (behind Jenny).

Second is a layout of my beautiful Jessica. I have a hard time putting a single photo on a layout, so the speed scrap that I made this for was challenging, but I like how it turned out. Plus this was the only picture that I took of Jessica that day that I liked. I felt the red of her wagon was distracting, so I made the photo black and white and then selectively put the color back on Jessica.
