Winter Elegance Part 2
I told you about Winter Elegance on the first. The three pieces are available only at Scraps N Pieces store right now. They’re $1 each through Jan. 7th. After that, the pieces will be combined and will be priced at full price.
I finally had some time to play with Winter Elegance and I have three layouts for you. First up are two pages that will be side by side in my album, so basically a double page; however, I made them individually. Journaling on the first page reads: “January 2007 was one of the wetter Januarys of record for Austin. A winter precipitation making weather system brought feezing rain and sleet. Coupled with lows near or below freezing, the city was blanketed with ice. Schools closed and officials recommended staying off the road. James and I stayed home from work. That night, when it appeared that the low wouldn’t be freezing, James and I defrosted and scrapped the ice from my Sonoma so I wouldn’t have as much to do in the morning.” I actually used the same template for both of them, but modified it heavily for the second page.

This third layout is from this past Christmas. We always take pictures by the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Usually, the one of James and I is taken after the girls go to bed.

Project 2015 January
Connie Prince is starting off the new year with her newest project life style series. I love her yearly month series. 2015 is no exception. You can pick it and the coordinating add-ons up at Scrapbookbytes, Gotta Pixel, or Gingerscraps.
I scrapped a layout from last January. Journaling reads: “Nana, Grandpoppy, and cousin Dawson arrived yesterday for a long weekend. This morning, Nana and I took the kids to the Circle C Metro Park to run off some energy before lunch.”
