Christmas Memories

Posted on November 17, 2013 by Jennifer

Today is the last day of Grab-a-Byte at Scrapbookbytes. Word Art World has four pieces you can pick up for $1 each.

I have two layouts showcasing this kit. They’re coordinating pages that will sit side by side in my 2012 album. Journaling on the first page read: “Growing up, it was a tradition to open gifts on Christmas Eve. First, after Christmas Eve mass and then as we got older and started attending midnight mass, we opened gifts before church. It is a tradition we’re continuing with our family. After returning home from church, we gathered around the tree and watched the girls’ excitement in opening their presents.”

I hope y’all had a fabulous weekend. We had a fun filled weekend visiting the Dinosaur Park, attending one of Jessica’s classmate’s birthday party and going for a family bike ride.

Word Art World has a great word art pack available now at Scrapbookbytes and Gotta Pixel.

Family Traditions & Squared Templates

Posted on November 15, 2013 by Jennifer

Inspired by You Designs is a new designer at Scraps N Pieces. Her templates are pretty cool. Squared has four templates that all have lots of square shapes.

Karen Diamond Designs has a beautiful kit to document your family memories. The colors and some of the elements are very fall/thanksgiving themed, but the kit is very versatile. It would be great to scrap some manly layouts.

I used two of the Squared templates with Family Traditions to document some memories from our 2011 Thanksgiving.

I have a freebie frame cluster for you. I’ve included both shadowed and unshadowed versions. You can download by clicking on the preview or clicking here. I’d love to know what you think of it.

Have a great weekend!

Queen Wild Scraps released the latest in her P52/365 series today. Noble November is full of fun fall colors, an adorable little turkey, and some word art and word bits perfect to describe your favorite November day.

Here’s a little closer look at the papers.

There are some fabulous coordinating journal cards.

And if you buy Noble November between today and November 21st, you get the journal cards for free. This is such a sweet deal, because the kit is also 50% off through the 21st.
