Through the Year

Posted on by

Meagan’s Creations has collaborated with Queen Wild Scraps to bring you a brand new set of templates called Through The Year! It’s perfect for scrapping moments you capture throughout the year!

The templates are available not only as pdf, tiff and png files but also in PAGE format! It’s 30% off so do grab it soon.

I used the Easter and birthday templates and pulled photos from quite a while back.  This first layout is of a birthday celebration back in 2009 for our friends Ranger and Aric who’s birthdays are only a day apart.

Family Ties

Posted on by

It’s August and that means it’s time for another round of Bits N Pieces! This month the theme was relationships and Queen Wild Scraps has made three pieces for you called Family Ties. First off is this cardstock pack that should match all of the kits:

Next up, she has this patterned paper pack – 15 papers in total:

And this element pack containing 35 unique elements:

Remember each of these packs are just ONE dollar but only for the first week of August so make sure you grab them quick!

I’ve made two layouts using all three of Lahni’s pieces. These photos are from our recent 2012 Dzubinski Family Trip.

Journaling reads: “Friday, July 20, 2012 We all gathered in Cabin 17, the two-bedroom cabin where Mom, Dad, Jennifer, James, Jessica and Janette were staying, for breakfast. Breakfast consisted of the homemade cinnamon rolls provided by the resort, cereal, oranges and juice. Afterward, everyone headed out to the porch to feed the peacocks. The peacocks were definitely used to people and would come right up to your outstretched hand. All the kiddos found it great fun.”

Circles and Scallops II

Posted on by

As promised, here’s the second release for today. Lahni, aka Queen Wild, has a new template set today. I think it is such an awesome template set. I’ve already used 3 out of 4 of the templates. Her first set of Circles and Scallops has been so popular that she decided to create a whole new set! These are called Circles and Scallops II and they’ll be on sale (along with the rest of her store) for 50% off until July 25th. You can find them here at Berry Sweet Scraps or here at Scraps-N-Pieces.

Now you already saw one of these templates in use in my Watermelon Days post. Here are layouts using two more of the templates.

Journaling reads: Jessica is so sweet to her baby sister. She loves to give her hugs and kisses. Janette gives her big smiles in return. I hope they continue to love on each other as time goes by. My dream for them is to grow up to become best of friends.

Journaling reads: We went to Mandola’s for lunch. The dessert counter had too many goodies to be bypassed. Jessica picked strawberry gelato, because it was pink. I pointed out that the raspberry gelato was also pink, albeit a darker pink, but she had made up her mind. Jessica ate most of it herself, but shared some with Nana and Mama.
