June Template Pack and Golf Word Art

Posted on by

Connie Prince released the June 2015 Template Bundle today. That’s 16 templates for $3.99, quite a steal. You can buy this bundle at Gotta Pixel, Gingerscraps or Digi Chick through the end of the month, before it is broken up.

Word Art World released a new word art pack today. Golf Word Art features 22 individual word art images perfect for your miniature golf or golf-themed layouts!

I combined these two releases to make two layouts with photos from our 2013 trip to Branson Missouri. Journaling on the first layout reads: We started our Saturday morning with Lost Mine Mini Golf at The Track #3. Jessica and Janette started out enthusiastic, but lost interest toward the end of the 18 holes. Jessica still enjoyed getting the ball in the hole, but not by using the club. I’m glad we started early as it was quite warm and humid, even early.

Scraps N Pieces has not one, but two kits for you this week.

Wedding photos are always family heirlooms. After all, they capture the happiest day of many people’s lives; the day they become husband and wife.  June is one of the most popular months for weddings and we have you covered with these two beautiful kits.  The kit is basically the same, just in two different color schemes.  Both kits are half off at both Scraps N Pieces and My Memories this week.SNP_DIW2_preview

I made two layouts using Dressed in White 2, the red color scheme. They’re from my friend Patricia’s wedding, whose favorite color is red.

It’s the first of the month and that means Bits N Pieces time over at Scraps N Pieces. Be sure to grab all of pieces from the designers Scraps N Pieces this month: elements, papers, alpha, and template pack 5.

English Garden captures the timeless fairy tale appeal of a lush, springtime garden. This kit’s cool, jewel-tone color scheme feels magical and lends an air of both fun and formality to your scrapbook pages. English Garden is versatile enough to pair nicely with other kits in your stash for scrapping every occasion.

Previews are linked.

I have four layouts to share, two using the kit and three using the template pack. These first two layouts using the kit are from our wedding. The purples and grays in the kit worked perfectly with the colors of our wedding.

The Heart of Nashville

Posted on by

Whether your love is country music or delicious BBQ, Nashville Music City is the place to be. The Heart of Nashville captures everything this is to love about this southern sanctuary. This latest kit  by Scraps N Pieces reproduces the down-home Americana feel of visiting Nashville, complete with neon lights and dark wood paneling. The Heart of Nashville contains lots of patterned papers, elements and tags for your favorite Music City sights.

The Heart of Nashiville kit will be on sale for $3.00 during this first week of release.  Previews are linked.

I have two layouts to share today. Both of these are from our trip to Branson in 2013. We attended a chuck wagon dinner show at the Shepherd of the Hills pavillion. Dinner was tasty and the entertainment was great. I used one of the Pioneer Woman’s photo actions on the large blended photo. Jessica collected autographs of the entertainers.

I made a layout with James’ parents when they visited during Midland’s spring break. Since, I’m currently enrolled in a six week photoshop class, I practiced my recoloring techniques by recoloring Olivia’s sweater from pink to purple to match the kit better.
