I love being on the creative team for Word Art World, because Jennifer always comes up with the best word art. Us is no exception. You can purchase it at Gingerscraps or The Digi Chick.
In my last post, I mentioned I had another layout using Southwest Sunsets. This is it. I really love this pic of James and I. It’s kind of crazy to think it was taken almost 13 years ago.

Word Art: Word Art World – Us
Road trips through America’s Southwest have become a staple of Americana. Driving west into the desert and the setting sun is both the stuff of legend and of many families’ scrapbooks. Southwest Sunsets by Scraps N Pieces provides the perfect backdrop for your family’s stories. This bold kit combines strong motifs and classic colors to make you feel like you’re already out west. Arrows, feathers, and cacti abound in this kit, along with desert-dwelling coyotes, foxes, and deer. There are plenty of patterned bands, suns, and sunsets to further accent your pages. Southwest Sunsets also comes with a turquoise Western-inspired alpha and a word strip pack that features many of the Southwest’s most popular destinations to make it easier to record your memories. So load up the car (and the camera) and drive west into the desert. Then, scrap your memories with Southwest Sunsets.
Each piece is just $1 April 1-7
I’ve have two layouts to share here and one more to share in a later post. These pics are from a trip James and I took to El Paso to visit our grandmothers back in 2004.

When learning about being a good neighbor, one of the best places to turn is Sesame Street. Generations have grown up learning how to read, count, and make new friends from their friendly neighborhood Muppets. Sunny Days! pays tribute to this community of characters and their impact on our families. This bright, whimsical kit draws on primary colors and bold patterns for that perfect child-like whimsy. Featured elements include everyone’s favorite characters, street signs, banners, and subtle nods to favorite moments on the show, like a rubber ducky and a cookie. This kit also contains a fun capital alpha in 4 colors for learning your ABCs – or titling your pages. Let your favorite photos and memories meet your favorite TV neighbors with Sunny Days! This kit is 50% off at Scraps N Pieces and My Memories for the week.
In addition to this fun new kit, we are doing a spring cleaning sale and retiring a whole bunch of our old kits. See details below and click on image to go to the sale.
I created two pages from a trip to Sea World’s Sesame Street themed Bay of Play.

Word Art World has a new word pack available. Live Out Loud features 14 fun word art about enjoying life. It is available at Gingerscraps and the Digi Chick.
I thought the “on top of the WORLD” word art would be perfect for some pictures from our hike up Whiteside Mountain in North Carolina last summer. The views were amazing and I thought pretty fitting for the word art. Journaling reads: After lunch at Highlands BBQ Company, we drove to the parking area at the base of Whiteside Mountain. A landmark in the Nantahala National Forest, Whiteside Mountain rises to an elevation of 4,930 feet. The mountain’s massive, exposed cliffs rise nearly 750 feet from the tree line, the highest perpendicular bare rock face east of the Rocky Mountains. It was quite a hike to the lookout areas. Janette lagged behind and I stayed with her. The views from the top were worth the effort. The trail makes a 2-mile loop, but we didn’t know that and returned the way we had come, so I’m unsure of the distance we actually covered.
