Super Hero

I knew this kit and coordinating pieces was perfect for some photos of Jessica and her cousins wearing the capes I made for them Christmas 2011. Journaling reads: For Christmas this year, I made Cameron, Trevor, Aspen and Jessica a personalized super hero cape. One side is a patterned fabric and the other side is a solid fabric with the initial of their first name in the patterned fabric from the other side. The straps have velcro, so they can put it on by themselves. I had plans to make coordinating masks too, but I ran out of time.

I love the nativity element in this kit, so I decided I had to use that. She was the cutest little angel up there, even if her costume didn’t fit right and her wings were droopy.

Oh, Christmas Tree!

It’s Grab-a-Byte time over at Scrapbookbytes. Word Art World saw the festive colors and designed a fun Christmas kit. There are five pieces you pick up for $1 each today through December 15th.

I had a lot of fun looking at pictures and deciding what Christmas event to scrap. I chose photos from our annual Christmas party last year.

Christmas Memories

Today is the last day of Grab-a-Byte at Scrapbookbytes. Word Art World has four pieces you can pick up for $1 each.

I have two layouts showcasing this kit. They’re coordinating pages that will sit side by side in my 2012 album. Journaling on the first page read: “Growing up, it was a tradition to open gifts on Christmas Eve. First, after Christmas Eve mass and then as we got older and started attending midnight mass, we opened gifts before church. It is a tradition we’re continuing with our family. After returning home from church, we gathered around the tree and watched the girls’ excitement in opening their presents.”
