June Template Bundle

Posted on by

I’m a little behind in blogging. I have quite a few half started posts. I will try to catch up. Connie Prince’s June Template Bundle is already broken up into the individual template sets, so they’re no longer quite the deal, but they’re still fabulous template sets. I do love Connie’s templates.

I used two of the sets. The first one is In Pieces, Vol 9. You can pick it up at Gingerscraps or The Digi Chick. I think the In Pieces series makes some really fun “quilted” layouts.

I also used Busy Bees, Connie’s contribution to the Gingerscraps Buffet this month.

I decided to scrap this really neat photo of my maternal grandmother. My Mom thinks the photo was taken about 1970, so I will update the layout with a c.1970 before I have it printed.

The second set I used is White Space Vol 19. You can pick it up at Gingerscraps or The Digi Chick.

I am personally not a big white space scrapper, because they usually like to make the photos small and that is not my style. However, if you use a large photo as the background, it changes the whole concept and I love it. This layout with the New River Gorge Bridge taking center stage is a new favorite layout and surprisingly the first layout I’ve completed of our West Virginia trip back in 2011.

Baby Girl

Word Art World’s latest kit is too adorable. Baby Girl is perfect to scrap those precious baby photos.

I had such fun looking through Jessica’s baby photos to find some photos I wanted to scrap.

Today is the start of the Digi Chick Hatchery Sale!!  Connie Prince has captured the fun of Summer and more with her new collection in the Hatchery Sale.  Splash Zone is perfect for all the wet and wild fun you may encounter this Summer!

Available at The Digi Chick today!

One of the reasons I love Connie’s designs is that you can scrap a memory with such ease. I took this photo on Sunday at the YMCA.

Take Off

Explore the “wild blue yonder” with Take Off. This timeless kit from Scraps N Pieces pays tribute to the world of aviation, drawing upon air flight’s great history. Featured elements include biplanes, pilot insignias, tickets and ephemera, propellers, and so much more. Take Off also comes packed with bold patterned papers, stunning solids, and a grungy red alpha to complement your photos. Whether you regularly soar above the clouds or just let your dreams take flight, scrap your stories with Take Off.

We took the girls to their first air show this past March and this kit was perfect to scrap those photos. I have four layouts, but I still have more photos to scrap.
