A Winter Wonderland and Template Pack 11

Welcome to a new year at Scraps N Pieces. Heidi and Lori are so grateful for this past year and all of their wonderful customers. They have so many fun things planned for this next year and they are starting it off with their contribution to January Bits N Pieces – A Woodland Winter.

With a light dusting of snow on the ground, everywhere becomes a winter wonderland. A Woodland Winter celebrates the cheerful yet muted tones of the world after a fresh snowfall and draws upon delightful winter imagery, turning every single layout into a snowy spectacular. Featured elements include snowmen, owls, birds (with stocking caps), ornaments, and snowflakes galore. The muted pastel tones add a pop of color to winter, keeping spirits bright until springtime. I don’t really get a winter wonderland in my area of the country, but this kit is versatile. I have two non-snowy layouts. These are from our Christmas celebration with my side of the family this year.

Love Melts the Heart

Good Times

It’s Gotta Grab It time at Gotta Pixel.

Word Art World put together a really awesome contribution this month. It can be used for a variety of photo subjects. Good Times is available as five separate pieces for $1 each or you can buy all five for $5.

I decided to scrap two pages from our recent Alaskan cruise vacation. These two pages are from the first day of our vacation in Vancouver.

Journaling reads: After Jessica and Janette went to bed, I went on a walk around our hotel with Sarah. Rylan, who took a super late nap, and Cameron joined us. We went to a nearby pharmacy for me to pick up an item I forgot to pack. Then we wandered around looking for a snack for Cameron. I, of course, snapped a few pics while on our walk. The store with our last name warranted a pic, as well as the views across the harbor.

A Fresh Start

Spring is a time of renewal. The snow melts away, flowers begin to bloom, and some people decide it’s a great time to clean their house. Scraps N Pieces’ latest kit, A Fresh Start, is the perfect kit to welcome in a clean new season. Even though I haven’t scrapped Janette’s baptism yet, I decided to scrap my nephew Rylan’s baptism. I want to scrap hers with a purple color scheme. However, I am still waiting on my sister to let me know the priest’s name.
