An Extraordinary Life {revived}

Posted on September 4, 2015 by Jennifer

Oftentimes we forget just how extraordinary our lives are. We get stuck in the mundane daily things and overlook the bounty of blessings in our lives. When Wendy retired An Extraordinary Life, the creative team was not happy with her! So when she decided to open her store again, the first thing we requested was a revival of this kit. Well, you know Wendy! She couldn’t just release it again, she had to make it even better! What does that mean for you? That means that this kit includes all of the pieces from the original kit PLUS an entirely new stash of awesomeness to go with it! You’re going to love the new additions and the way they’ve enhanced the original kit. The colors are playful and so much fun to play with. The variety of ellies will have your head spinning as you quickly realize there are over 200 of them to choose from! Wendy asked the creative team what they wished this kit had and then set out to make it all happen! You’re going to love this revival! Don’t forget to check out the great add ons or pick up the bundle that includes it all!

Introducing An Extraordinary Life {revived}

There are seven fun extras that are available: Alphas, Wrappers, Word Bits, Journal Cards, Graffiti, Clusters and Dates. You can purchase them separately or everying in a bundle.

At the Stroke of Midnight captures the diverse color palettes of the ball and her day-to-day life and is versatile enough to add a little magic to your memories. This kit is packed full of sparkle, patterned papers, and Cinderella’s classic shade of blue, dropping hints of the story like her lost glass slipper. In addition to thematic elements, this kit is a treasure trove of flowers, ribbons, and bows—perfect for everyday scrapbook pages too. At The Stroke of Midnight comes with two different alphas to mix-and-match and make all your wishes come true. This kit comes with TWO extra packs – glitters and a set of damask papers! I made two layouts. First up is a layout from last Halloween of Jessica dressed up as Cinderella.

Then I used the more colorful aspects of the kit to scrap a page about meeting Drizella, one of Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters, last summer at Disney World. I need to do a coordinating page for meeting Anastasia, the other stepsister.

I have one layout using Start Your Engines. It’s from the Alaskan cruise we just returned from last week. There is an area of the Disney Wonder, the ship we cruised on, that is called the Route 66 entertainment district.

South Pacific Holiday

Posted on February 26, 2015 by Jennifer

No matter the weather, our minds always wander to a tropical destination. Whether you are simply dreaming of a tropical vacation or are scrapping your gorgeous photos, South Pacific Holiday has you covered. This kit’s bright, tropical color palette lends a punch to your scrapbook pages and it’s elements capture the best parts of a relaxing holiday: butterflies and drinks with umbrellas, sea turtles and tropical fish, lush flowers and hula dancers, even the warm sunlight. South Pacific Holiday also includes a full alpha and set of destination tags.

You can get this latest kit from designer Scraps N Pieces at both the Scraps N Pieces store and the My Memories store for 1/2 price this week. This kit was a special request from our CT member Jennifer. Isn’t that cool that Lori and Heidi made a kit that had the color scheme and elements I was looking for to scrap our Tahitian vacation?

Amy’s Scrappin Memories also has a coordinating word art pack on sale this week in the store at Scraps N Pieces.

I have threee layouts to share today. Although I’m sure I will have many more. The first two contain pics from Mo’orea. The third, which I shared last week also, are pics from Bora Bora.

Sheri’s Freebie

Lindsay’s Freebie

Beth’s Freebie

Beth is new to the Scraps N Pieces CT – here is a little bit about her.

My name is Beth Hoffman and I live in the Portland, OR area. I’ve been a SAHM for about 25 years and an empty nester for the past few years. I’ve been married to my best friend for 30 years and have two grown sons; 24 & 27. Before having kids I worked in the corporate environment in Human Resources and have volunteered over the years for various charity organizations. I love spending time with my nose buried in a good book, taking long walks and hanging out with family and friends. I started paper scrapping about 15 years ago and started ‘collecting’ digital scrapbook freebies a few years later. After several frustrating attempts to learn Photoshop Elements, I took digital classes from Scraps-N-Pieces in 2013 and have been creating digital layouts ever since.

If you are newsletter subscriber, you probably got this freebie in our Wednesday newsletter. If not, be sure to sign up for our newsletter up above and get that freebie along with about 50 others.

One more new product this week. Every year we have a special request to make calendar QPs, so this is our set for this year. It is pulled from other sets in the store with the months added. This is great for those working on P12, or for title pages for P52 and P365.

Wendy Tunison Designs – She’s My Best Friend

Posted on February 4, 2015 by Jennifer

You know who she is. She is the one who picks you up when you fall, all the time laughing till you both are in a puddle of giggles. She laughs with you and cries with you and can fight with you like no other. She can be next to you or a thousand miles away but the one thing you can count on…she is ALWAYS there for you. Your Best Friend. She’s My Best Friend from Wendy Tunison Designs is a kit for all ages. I see little girls in pj’s snuggled under the covers telling secrets or the two of you sitting with a glass of wine. You can talk for hours or sit in silence and just know each others’ thoughts. The colors, papers and element are stunning. Soft and bold at the same time. Get out there with your Bestie, that kindred spirit and have some fun, but don’t forget the photos and share those memories with those you love.

Wendy has created some fabulous add ons for this kit as well!

Better yet…you can grab the full bundle and get it all!

I have two layouts to share. This first one is from a recent play date.

And the second is from lunch with Kristy to celebrate her birthday. Apparently, I only took pictures of Kristy and didn’t have any taken of the two of us.

Now I know you can’t wait to see the beautiful layouts the rest of the CT made with this kit!

Don’t forget to check out Scraps N’ Pieces by Lori & Heidi’s portion of this collab while you’re out shopping!

And if you’re looking for some fabulous templates to go with them, check these out from Queen Wild Scraps…

Have a great day!
