I made a layout with James’ parents when they visited during Midland’s spring break. Since, I’m currently enrolled in a six week photoshop class, I practiced my recoloring techniques by recoloring Olivia’s sweater from pink to purple to match the kit better.

It’s Gotta Grab It Time at Gotta Pixel. I absolutely love the color scheme. Word Art World’s contribution is called Sophisticated.GGI0414_sophisticated_el

I was inspired by the dress form element, so I looked through my heritage photo collection and decided to scrap this photo of two of my maternal grandmother’s sisters. Evalyn on the right is my grandmother’s identical twin sister.2015-04-11_LO_Sisters-Eleanor-and-Evalyn-Zander

Project 2015 January

Posted on by

Connie Prince is starting off the new year with her newest project life style series. I love her yearly month series. 2015 is no exception. You can pick it and the coordinating add-ons up at Scrapbookbytes, Gotta Pixel, or Gingerscraps.cap_P2015JanKit

I scrapped a layout from last January. Journaling reads: “Nana, Grandpoppy, and cousin Dawson arrived yesterday for a long weekend. This morning, Nana and I took the kids to the Circle C Metro Park to run off some energy before lunch.”

I made a layout with a photo from the winter months, but didn’t utilize any of the snowy elements. You know Texas. Not much snow.
