Someone I know is due to have a baby girl any day now. I made the parents-to-be this adorable card. Hopefully, the mommy-to-be doesn’t read my blog (I don’t think she does), because I’m not going to the post office until tomorrow.
I used Tuesday Morning Sketches #84, except I used an oval instead of a diamond. The image is an adorable Phindy’s Place image that works perfectly for the “Oh Baby!” theme of Phindy’s Friday Challenge #45. I’m also entering this card in The Pink Elephant Challenge #95 to make a spring time card. A baby definitely makes me think of spring.
Baby Card
Stamps: Phindy’s Place Contentment; Ginger’s House Babies (sentiment)
Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Whisper White, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum
Designer Paper: Stampin’ Up Enchante
Ink: Dell printer
Embellishments: green ribbon
Tools: Stampin’ Up markers; Copic markers (skin); Nesties small/large ovals, small/large scallop ovals
I normally don’t decorate the insides of my cards, because I like to leave lots of room to write a message. However, I didn’t have room on the front for the Ginger’s House sentiment I printed, so I decorated the inside with more of the pretty DP and added it there.
Inside of Baby Card
I also made a set of personalized notecards for the parents-to-be. I tried something different from my norm.
Personalized Notecards
Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Pretty in Pink; blank white cards
Ink: Dell printer, Stampin’ Up Pretty in Pink (on embossed feet)
Tools: Nesties Labels Three; Cuttlebug It’s a Boy embossing folder
Thanks for stopping by.
I love your little note cards! Too Cute
Beautiful job with a great colour scheme and lovely colouring. The little notecards are so sweet and will be much appreciated. Thanks for joining us at Phindy’s Place and don’t forget to link your card a second time since you used a Phindy image.
Hugs!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful baby cards! I made a counted cross stitch picture that looks much like the mama/baby image. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
