Today, is new sketch day at Sketchy Thursdays and I was immediately inspired. I loved the circles underneath and around the title. I was looking through my photos trying to decide if I wanted to blog about Jessica turning 22 months old (yes, that happened two days ago) and thought these three photos would work perfect with the sketch. The digi-kit I decided to scrap with is lovely neutral tones with just a hint of lime-green, which almost matched the color of Jessica’s shorts. I added some pink touches (the lime-green flairs in the kit actually say “me” so I just covered that with a pink heart) to go with the hearts on her shirt. I also added the pink embossed circle on the rose.
Journaling reads: “Jessica enjoys our new washer and dryer. Every time it sings its little song indicating the load is done, she points toward the laundry room and runs to go check it out. On this day, a simple “Do you want to put the diapers in the basket?” started her unloading the washer and filling up the basket so we could go hang the diapers in the sun to dry. August 10, 2011″
