Queen Wild Scraps’s newest release is the February installment of her P52/P365 series. Are you on the P52/P365 bandwagon? I want to be and always start off with grand intentions, but always fall off. So I’m kinda excited that Lahni decided to do a P52/P365 series. She’s going to keep me from falling off. I hope. 🙂 Of course, you could use the kit to scrap Valentine’s or general love pages too.
There’s some fun grafitti.
And templates. Lahni wants you to be successful at P52/P365.
You can pick it on sale for 30% off this first week. Or you can buy it all in a bundle and save money.
Last year, I started out the year by planning to do a P52 project, where I would make a layout for every week of the year. It would be complemented by my intention of taking at least one photo every day. I did pretty good with the photo a day, but I fell off the bandwagon after week 6 for making layouts. This year, I hadn’t planned on making such an ambitious goal, but I’ve been inspired by Queen Wild Scraps new monthly kit/templates. So I’m starting at week 5, but I’m going to go back and do weeks 1-4. I have also started up the photo a day again, but I missed a few day up until last week.
Week 5 journaling reads: January 29th through February 4th
31: Janette had her 15 month well check. She also took her first unassisted steps.
1: Jessica is becoming such a big girl. She helped make Gatorade for Daddy.
2: Jessica took her first swim lesson at the YMCA with her teacher Ms. Laura.
3: Family movie night was The Princess and the Frog.
4: Lana, Jessica’s friend from school, came over to our house for a playdate.
Week 6 journaling reads:
5: I took Jessica to her first dance class at the YMCA. Before going, she didn’t want to put the leotard and tights on. When we initially arrived, she got excited and stripped to put it on, but then, she didn’t want to join the class.
6: After picking Jessica up from school, we went to the library to turn in books and check out new ones. Janette’s bedtime routine was bittersweet. It was the last time I would nurse her before putting her in her crib to sleep.
7: I had a MOPS steering team meeting in the morning and my MOPS book club met that night. We normally meet the 3rd Thursday of the month, but we decided to see Les Mis at the movies for a change of pace and we were afraid it might not still be at the theatres the 3rd Thursday. It was the perfect night to start weaning Janette since I would be away during the bedtime routine She did great and James said she didn’t fuss too much.
8: Jessica helped make cookies after quiet time. She wanted orange cookies with orange frosting. Baking with her can be so much fun, but quite messy.
9: Jessica stayed on the steps the entire swim lesson.
10: After Janette went down for a nap, Jessica, James and I played Shoots and Ladders before James left town to go to Dallas for work. He would only be gone for one night. When Janette woke up from her nap, we went to Michael’s, followed by the adjacent Petco to watch the critters. Then we went out to dinner at Culvers and the girls shared custard.
11: Harper, Jessica’s friend from school, and her her baby sister Ada, who is a few weeks older than Janette, came over in the morning for a playdate. The girls had a blast. Seeing them all sit together at the little table having a snack was so sweet.
The rest of the Creative Team loved this new kit and templates too. We have a ton of inspiration for you today.

I have a freebie for you today. I made these date flairs for my own personal use and then I thought that maybe someone else might like to use them too. You can click here or on the preview to download. I would love to know what you think of them.
I enjoyed all of the pictures and reading about what Jessica and Janette have been doing. I hope you can do one for each week this year.
Thank you so much, Jennifer! These are great!
Good luck on the project! (I try it again, and again every year – without success! 🙂 )
