Here’s Dawna’s own words about Strong Enough:
2012 and 2013 were difficult years for me. I suffered a recurrence of post-traumatic stress from an incident that occurred many years ago; I have had to overcome several health problems that are mostly a result of an accident I had in 2008, plus all the normal ups and downs of life. Some of these issues required me to slow down from designing and even take some time off from designing. But the good news is that I was strong enough to overcome what was tossed in my path, I feel better than ever and I’m back to designing full-time again. That’s when I started thinking about strength and what it means. There is spiritual strength, there is emotional strength and there is physical strength. Sometimes you need one type of strength, sometimes you need them all to get through a situation. Everybody is strong in their own way and everybody draws strength from different sources.
Strong Enough is a beautiful kit. The colours are soft and soothing, but the elements are strong and powerful. What is more empowering than a tag that says “I did it”? I have 24 beautiful papers and 54 elements as well as a full alpha of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation.

The beautiful greens of this kit remind me of the first little sprouts poking through the dirt, the trees leafing out, grass coming back to life, and just an overall freshness.
