It’s Gotta Grab It time at Gotta Pixel. This month’s color swatch is pretty fun.
Word Art World has five fun packs you can pick up for $1 today through February 14th. Initially, she was considering a project life type kit with these colors, but one of my fellow CT members suggested doing a Valentine’s Day theme playing up the non-traditional colors. Thus, Captured by You was born. Personally, I’m so glad she went with the love theme as I love it.
I made two love layouts. First up is a vintage photo of James’ grandparents. Since it was a photo from the 70s, I went with rounded corners on the photo and photo mat.
Digkit: Word Art World – Captured by You (elements, papers 1, papers 2, word art)
Template: Trixie Scraps Designs – Summer Lovin’
Font: Janda Happy Day (journal)
Second is a layout of Jessica’s school friend, Lana, at their school Valentine’s picnic/party last year. Somehow, I don’t think they’ll be having a picnic on Valentine’s Day this year. It’s amazing to watch Jessica and her friends grow. Lana used to be so shy around me. Now her personality just shines.

Stay tuned for more layouts with this color swatch.
