Today, I have two layouts to show you. We visited a special exhibit at my hometown’s library, called Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit. It was really cool. I still have photos to scrap of our visit, so I will be sharing more soon.

What a Racket

Posted on August 1, 2016 by Jennifer

Summertime brings everyone to the backyard for a little fun in the sun. What better way is there to spend the day than playing a few games with friends? The latest kit from Scraps N Pieces, What A Racket, celebrates those pursuits of fun involving rackets: tennis, badminton, lacrosse, wiffle ball, and ping-pong. This brightly-colored kit infuses doses of sunshine to your pages, with pops of red, turquoise, and yellow. Featured elements include rackets and balls aplenty, the sun and clouds, roughed-up papers, and a neatly strung alpha you need to see. Serve up fun summer pages with What A Racket!

Be sure to pick up our element pack, paper pack, cardstock/tattered pack, alpha, and template cluster pack 1 all for just $1 August 1-8.

When I saw this kit, I immediately thought of our friends Ranger and Clarisse. They exchanged vows in a small private ceremony before the big wedding. And that small private ceremony, was on a tennis court. So I scrapped these photos for them.

I made two layouts. The first one is from last summer on our Disney Alaskan cruise. Janette did the little head cock in a lot of the pictures that vacation.

Family is Everything

Posted on July 21, 2016 by Jennifer

Sometimes, the most important stories we tell aren’t about adventures; they’re about the quiet moments that happen at home. The latest kit from Scraps N Pieces, Family is Everything, celebrates the most important people in our lives: our families. This cool-colored kit combines robin’s egg and navy blues with neutrals and white for a relaxing, timeless feel. Family is Everything contains traditional, understated elements that don’t compete with your priceless photos. Featured elements include cameras, clocks, thematic word art, and a subtle gray alpha. Whether you use it on its own or combine it with other kits you love, the emphasis is on the people in your pages with Family is Everything. It is available at Scraps N Pieces and My Memories.
