I made two layouts. They both showcase a meal shared with family back in 2008.

Timeless

Posted on July 7, 2016 by Jennifer

Styles and trends will go in and out of fashion but memories are forever. Timeless‘ rich color palette and elements are, well, timeless. This calm, understated kit is perfectly designed to complement both heirloom photos and your current photos perfectly. Timeless contains classic patterned papers and subtly textured solids, as well as the banners, flowers, and ephemera every layout needs. In addition, this kit also contains hot air balloon motifs, clockwork gears, and a typewriter key alpha that harkens to days gone by. Create scrapbook layouts that stand the test of time-and that future generations will love-with Timeless. Those of you that are into Steampunk will especially love this kit.

Get this kit during it’s first week of release at SNP for 1/2 off.

I created two heritage layouts with this kit. This first one is my maternal great-grandparents.

The second one is one of my Mom’s cousins.

Slip-n-Slide

Posted on July 1, 2016 by Jennifer

Summertime is all about fun in the sun, but the best way to beat the heat is playing in the water. Scraps N Pieces’ contribution to this month’s Bits N Pieces, Slip-n-Slide, celebrates one of the best summertime activities: visiting a waterpark. Slip-n-Slide’s bright, playful color palette screams ‘fun!’, while its hand-drawn elements complement your photos perfectly. Featured elements include water slides, tubes, word art, and a blue flair alpha. Prefer lazy days at home to a lazy river? Slip-n-Slide’s bold patterned papers, summery glitter papers, and traditional elements complement all types of sunny photos and play well with other kits. Enjoy your fun in the sun and scrap with a splash with Slip-n-Slide.

You can get each part of this collection for only $1.00 each through July 7th. Previews are linked.

I have three layouts to share. First up is a recent photo of Janette and her friend Leah at the YMCA pool. I love this photo.

Floating Along

Posted on June 30, 2016 by Jennifer

Connie Prince release a really fun kit called Floating Along two weeks ago. I was really sad that I couldn’t work with it then since I was on vacation, but I was lucky enough to work on it now. It was a bonus that it worked perfectly with the vacation photos when I missed my chance to work with it at release. You can find the kit and all coordinating packs at Ginger Scraps, Gotta Pixel, and The Digi Chick.

I did a double page layout of one of the waterfalls we saw on our recent North Carolina and Georgia vacation.

Connie Prince’s newest collection is in stores today just in time for you to decorate and document all those Independence Day celebrations and more! You can pick up the main packs in a convenient bundle or individual packs. I personally love the bundle option because I’m want all the packs and it saves time.
