100 of My Favorites Vol 8

Posted on by

Jennifer of Word Art World has been busy and this is one of her new word art packs available. It has lot of really awesome word art.

This is my second layout using the I Am Silly kit from Scraps N Pieces. Jessica had this footless pajamas as a baby and a matching receiving blanket that had little giraffes and elephants on it. It was so cute, she had it in two sizes. It was one my favorite outfits. The kit made me think it and of course Jessica is very loved, so I know that would be the perfect word art.

I Am Silly

Life can be so serious. Sometimes you just have to cut loose and be a little ridiculous. Scraps N Pieces’ latest kit I Am Silly celebrates those little moments with the big giggle factor that makes life more fun! The playful color palette feels like a good laugh – bright poppy oranges and yellows, cool blues, and some greens to help keep you on your toes. The elements are perfectly versatile, encompassing banners, ribbons, flowers, ephemera, and silly giraffes guarantees to elicit a chuckle. The coordinating papers are playfully patterned, the alpha is a little bit off-kilter, and the word art is perfect for reminding you to indulge in a little silliness. So break out of the day-to-day doldrums and get your fun on with I Am Silly. Previews are linked to purchase the items in this kit for 50% off for the first 5 days of release.

The giraffes in this kit are just too cute, so I knew I wanted to use as many as I could. This first layout documents Janette feeding the giraffes at the Albuquerque Zoo in August 2017. Check out that long tongue.

#2019 April

I’m so excited to be guesting for Connie Prince again for the month of April. The first kit I get to work with is #2019 April. It is part of Connie’s #2019 series. Here’s a look at all the awesomeness you’ll get in this mega stash bundle!
Here’s a closer look at the kit. Be sure to check out the rest of the packs in the bundle in the store. You can purchase  ~ .
I love how soft this kit and felt it went perfectly with the dress I wore last Easter. I’m pretty blessed to have so many wonderful ladies at my church I can call my friends and the photos I took with some of them last Easter was a perfect thing to scrap.

I Am Friendly

Posted on by

Friendship is all about being a smiling face and a safe place, brightening someone’s life and bringing back the warm and fuzzy feelings. Scraps N Pieces’ latest kit, I Am Friendly, celebrates the joy of spending time with your closest friends. This bright, cheerful color palette matches the color and sunshine returning to the world after a long winter – spring greens, sky blues, rosy pink, sunny yellows and oranges too. The elements are perfectly springy as well, with cute ducks, blooming flowers, and fluffy clouds as far as the eye can see. Playful patterned papers, banners and ribbons galore, friendship-themed word art, and a bold skinny alpha will bring a smile to your face. So enjoy the bloom of springtime with the people who bring sunshine to your life, then scrap those warm fuzzy feelings with I Am Friendly.

On sale through March 5th for 50% off as part of the Gingerscraps Buffet.  Previews are linked to purchase.

I have two layouts to share today. This first layout is about a visit to Bear Creek Park to feed the ducks. Look at those little chubby legs of Janette. She really wanted to get close to the ducks.
