The Scrappy Kat – JAMSquared

This month I had the chance to work with a kit from The Scrappy Kat. I chose this beachy kit called It’s a Shore Thing. I love the blue, aqua, and tan with a hint of orange and yellow. There are a bunch of fun beach and surf elements. In addition to the kit, The Scrappy Kat has a coordinating quick page set, word art set, and add-on; however, I did not work with any of the extras.

I made a two page spread documenting playing in the sand at Castaway Cay on our Disney cruise back in January. It’s amazing to see how much Janette has changed in just eleven short months.

Sunday afternoon after stamping with Lori, I met James and Jessica at Loco-Motion, a bounce house place that has been having deals at a lot of different deal sites recently. I decided the pictures I took would work for a challenge I’ve been wanting to participate in, the August Scrapheap Challenge #1 at Scrapbookbytes.com. The challenge is to use 3 frames, 4 pictures, a tag (at least 1), the color yellow and 2 papers (one plain and one striped).
