Everyone here at True North Scraps would like to wish YOU a very Happy New Year and all the best for year 2014!! Yeah!!!

I have something new and exciting to tell you about True North Scraps. You can now see Dawna’s kits at Go Digital Scrapbooking. Starting Jan 1 to 31 everything will be 30% off.

Grand Opening!

New Release

True North Scraps has a new release to show you called Strong Enough. It will be on sale for 30% off the first week at Scraps N Pieces and Heritage Scraps.

Here’s Dawna’s own words about Strong Enough:

2012 and 2013 were difficult years for me. I suffered a recurrence of post-traumatic stress from an incident that occurred many years ago; I have had to overcome several health problems that are mostly a result of an accident I had in 2008, plus all the normal ups and downs of life. Some of these issues required me to slow down from designing and even take some time off from designing. But the good news is that I was strong enough to overcome what was tossed in my path, I feel better than ever and I’m back to designing full-time again. That’s when I started thinking about strength and what it means. There is spiritual strength, there is emotional strength and there is physical strength. Sometimes you need one type of strength, sometimes you need them all to get through a situation. Everybody is strong in their own way and everybody draws strength from different sources.

Strong Enough is a beautiful kit. The colours are soft and soothing, but the elements are strong and powerful. What is more empowering than a tag that says “I did it”? I have 24 beautiful papers and 54 elements as well as a full alpha of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation.

I like to show you some beautiful layouts created by the North Stars.

7Th Day Of Kit Flashbacks

Today’s kit flashback is Fresh As A Daisy. It’s 50% off at Scraps N Pieces and Heritage Scraps for 1 day only.

The beautiful greens of this kit remind me of the first little sprouts poking through the dirt, the trees leafing out, grass coming back to life, and just an overall freshness. The Elements pack has 42 elements including plenty of daisies and there are even an adorable little girl and boy gnome to watch over your LOs. The gorgeous papers are so fresh and outdoorsy. You will have trouble deciding which ones you want to use in your LO!

Here’s a look at what the North Stars created with it!

On the Third Day of 12 days of kit Flashbacks Dawna made This Time of Year for 50% at Scraps N Pieces and Heritage Scraps.
This beautiful kit got its start as part of Dawna’s blog train in November 2012. Elegant Christmas, as a free bonus in this bundle for people who may have missed picking it up when it was free on my blog. Elegant Christmas is a separate download so you don’t have to download it again (although I have made some slight improvements to it so I would recommend deleting the old files and downloading these ones).
In addition to the mini kit of 7 cardstocks and 6 elements, there are 34 more elegant elements, 15 beautiful patterned papers and a full golden alpha.
Here’s a few layouts with This Time Of Year.
