Posted on August 7, 2014 by Jennifer

This fun, bright kit can be used for a diverse amount water adventures: deep sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, a visit to the zoo or aquarium, a beach trip or even photos of your favorite pet fish. The list could go on. You’ll love the geometric patterned papers and the creative themed elements! So if you have a big ocean adventure or a small fish tank to document (and anything in between) this kit is for you.

It is on sale this week at both our Scraps N Pieces store and at My Memories.

Amy’s Scrappin’ Memories has made a super cute coordinating word art pack that is on sale this week as well.

I made two layouts with photos from our 2008 trip to Tahiti.

Lake Side

Posted on August 7, 2014 by Jennifer

Queen Wild Scraps has a fabulous new release today. Lake Side is perfect for all your outdoor water fun. You can scrap all those boating, tubing, and swimming photos, plus there are enough non-themed elements to really use it outside the theme box. Lahni also created some fun coordinating journal cards. You can pick it up for 40% today through August 15th. Plus the journal cards are free with purchase during the introductory period.

Here’s my layout. It is a double page spread. The photos are from our recent Disney World vacation.

You might remember that I had the opportunity to guest for Ladybug Scraps when she release Let the Magic Begin. Today, she is releasing coordinating journal cards. There are four sets. You can buy them individually or together as a bundle.

I have three layouts using the journal cards. They’re all from our 2013 day at Magic Kingdom.

Eat Sleep Cache

Posted on July 24, 2014 by Jennifer

Scraps N Pieces is so excited about their newest kit. It was a collab with The Scrappy Kat, so, since their kits are 1/2 off the first week, you can pick up both of them and it will be like getting 2 kits for the price of one! Amy’s Scrappin’ Memories has also done a coordinating cluster pack from their part. Pick up all of it to scrap your caching adventures, or any outdoor pictures. You will find this kit is very versatile and fun!

Grab it at 1/2 off at Scraps N Pieces or at My Memories.

Take a look!

Here is The Scrappy Kat’s part – she also has a torn paper pack that matches!

and here is Amy’s Scrappin’ Memories cluster pack that is also half off.

I have two layouts to share today. The first one use both Scraps N’ Pieces kit as well as The Scrappy Cat’s kit. I chose to scrap a fun 6-hour hike we took in 2011. Journaling reads: Big Basin is only 20 miles from San Jose, but is a one-hour drive along twisty mountain roads. Mona and Alan picked us up from our hotel fairly early so we would be sure to arrive with time to spare for the 9:30 guided hike. After we arrived at the park headquarters area, we had time to explore around the 1930s lodge-style buildings built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. In addition to the park headquarters, they built the amphitheater and miles of trails. California’s oldest state park, Big Basin was established in 1902. Home to the largest continuous stand of Ancient Coast Redwoods south of San Francisco, the park consists of Old Growth and recovering Redwood Forest, with mixed conifer, oaks, chaparral, and riparian habitats. Elevations in the park vary from sea level to over 2,000 feet.

The second layout uses just Scraps N’ Pieces kit. I wanted to really focus on the pine cone. It’s crazy how small a redwood pine cone is considering how big the tree gets.

Here’s more inspiration from both designer’s CTs. There are a ton of super cute layouts.

Aren’t those awesome?! Here are some freebies too! Because they rock!

and this fun freebie was available in their newsletter yesterday. Be sure you are subscribed to their newsletter for all of their fun extra freebies.

Scraps N Pieces has seven new releases this week!

The first is a fan kit called Sweet Summer Sunset that was the request winner during their Featured Designer spot a couple months ago. It was the Free with $10 purchase kit up through today and then goes into their shop as a regular product tomorrow. They have it on sale for those of you that didn’t pick it up free. It will be 1/2 off at both Scraps N Pieces and My Memories for a few days.

This fun freebie shown below is available to their newsletter subscribers. Make sure you are subscribed before their July 23rd newsletter is published so you can get it.

They also have 6 new QP packs in the store. Their newsletter subscribers will find a special coupon for these in the July 23rd edition of the newsletter, so just another reason to subscribe now. There is a link up above. These sets are available in both of their stores.
