Bayou Princess

Posted on by

BAYOU PRINCESS by Magical Scraps Galore is a magical collection inspired by the enchanted tale of Tiana. In gorgeous shades of purple, green and gold, this collection captures the Southern charm featuring beautiful elements such as Princess Tiana, fleur-de-lis accents, carnival masks and beads, fireflies, a prince frog, iconic New Orleans lamp posts and railings, Tiana’s restaurant menu, among many other fabulous patterns and goodies.

This collection is perfect to document a Princess meet and greet, your stay at both Port Orleans resorts, plus your trip to New Orleans and your Mardi Gras pictures.

Find the full collection at 58% off -or the individual kit and add-ons at 30% off– through September 13th  at  and .

I have two layouts to share. They’re both from our 2014 trip to Walt Disney World. This first one is of Tiana and Prince Naveen in the parade at the Magic Kingdom.

This next layout is about the resort we stayed at, Port Orleans French Quarter. I have one more layout to finish that will compliment this one.

Camelot

Posted on by

Stories of the days of olde and days of legend blur together, creating a history that is part fantastic feats and part pure fantasy. If you love fairy tales, Renaissance faires, or just knights in shining armor, you will love scrapping with Camelot by Scraps N Pieces. This richly-colored kit provides the perfect tapestry on which to scrap. Bold patterned papers, waving pennants, and stone castle elements provide the perfect backdrop, while swords, armor, dragons, and heraldic crests accentuate your photos. Faded book-print cardstock and yellowing letters round out this kit perfectly. So embark onto your quest – whether it be for bedtime stories or eternal glory – and create the perfect layout with Camelot.

Grab this kit during the first week of release for half price.  Preview is linked to Gingerscraps and the link to MyMemories is HERE.

I have two layouts to share today. I immediately thought of The Sword in the Stone when I saw this kit and knew I had the perfect pics. Scrapping these Disney World pics bring back the memories.

I wasn’t sure what else to scrap, so I browsed heritage photos I have scrapped and came across these of me as a little tyke. I thought the colors of the kit went quite well with my shorts. My Grandma, a scrapbooker from before that was a thing, would appreciate it, I think.

Picture Perfect

Word Art World has a contribution to this month’s Buffet Sale at Gingerscraps. Picture Perfect is a grungy, versatile kit and features 21 papers, 98 elements, 29 word art images, and 10 messy extras. Remember Buffet Sale prices are only good through August 5th.

I decided to work with the orange in the kit and chose some photos from a Home Depot Kids Building Workshop. Love that Home Depot does these workshops for free. This particular workshop they built stands for a flower container and our nephew Eli joined us.

100 of My Favorites Vol. 7

Posted on by

I’m pretty excited that Jennifer is back to designing word art after taking some time off to spend time with her family. Here’s one of her new word art packs, 100 of My Favorites Vol 7.

With the school year wrapping up, my eye was immediately drawn to the teacher word art. Now I finished this layout before I got end of year pictures this year, so I chose this photo of Jessica and her teacher Mrs. Calabrese last year. Mrs. Calabrese retired this year. Jessica told me that there was a group photo taken of all the kids who had Mrs. Calabrese (who were still at Baranoff) as part of her retirement send-off.
