I love this kit! Unfortunately, I haven’t been to Pandora yet, so I had to think outside of the box for what to scrap. I ended up choosing these photos from a visit to the Rainforest Cafe in Galveston.

Southern Charm, Template Pack 32, and Our Mother

In addition to Southern Charm and Template Pack 38, I also used a new word art pack, Our Mother, from Word Art World.

As soon as I saw this kit and the cotton bole, I knew I would be scrapping a photo of my grandfather, a farmer who grew cotton, as well as wheat and watermelons. I turned the inscription on the back of the photo into my title. I love that I have his handwriting on this layout.

Now I really wanted to use the new template pack, but I couldn’t think of a photo that would work with it and Southern Charm, so I chose a different Scraps N Pieces kit. I really like this photo of Jessica and I that we took during her field trip to the Austin Nature and Science Center.

I decided to scrap some photos from the birthday party of one of Janette’s friends. She had a fun Hollywood diva style party and Princess for a Day was a great choice to scrap these photos.

Singing in the Rain

Whether you prefer to spend rainy days jumping in puddles or watching the weather from inside, Scraps N Pieces has you covered. Sail Away

Sail Away is the perfect kit for all your cruising adventures. Its color palette brings to mind the open sea, blue skies, turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and the bright sunny days spent on vacation. Much like a cruise ship, there’s plenty to see, including bold patterned papers, luxurious solids, sandy textured papers, and watercolor papers too. But it’s the elements that add the adventure in this kit. There are deck chairs, sandcastles, bikinis and flip flops for those days in port; snorkelers, dolphins, and whales for excursions; word strips for popular ports of call, a glossy blue alpha and, of course, several different cruise ships. I have some layouts that document Ketchikan. First up is a double layout. Journaling reads: Mom, Dad, Sarah, Brian, Cameron, Trevor, Rylan, Jessica and Janette boarded the Lighthouse Endeavour for the Lighthouse, Totems, & Eagles boating excursion. They sailed by Totem Bight State Park, home to Ketchikan’s tallest totem pole. They circled the island that is home to the historic Guard Island Lighthouse, built in 1903. Throughout the tour, they saw numerous bald eagles. The scenic tour also had views of the Vallenar Rocks Wildlife Viewing Area, remnants of a floating lumberjack camp, many mansions and homes, as well as 12 islands, including Danger Island, Alaska’s most dangerous island.
