I’ve joined the Creative Team of Scraps N Pieces. I’m pretty excited, since I love their designs. Along the Seashore is the first kit I got to work with. It is part of July’s Bits N Pieces over at SNP. These colors worked so well for a romantic beach kit. Perfect for an evening stroll, or even a beach wedding. You will love the soft romantic colors and realistic elements in this beautiful kit. There are papers, elements, and a vellum alpha for you this month. Weekly Masks

Amy of Amy’s Designs is all about P52/Project Life. She makes the most amazing layouts for it. People were constantly asking her about them, so she decided to package up the masks she made and put them in the store so everyone could benefit. You can purchase Weekly Masks 1, Weekly Masks 2, Weekly Masks 3, Weekly Masks 4, and Weekly Masks 5 individually for $2.50 each or as a bundle for $10.

I have two layouts to share today using these masks. My friend Jillan happened to post some of these adorable photos of her daughter and nephew having a lemonade stand the same day I picked up this adorable lemonade kit as the free-with-purchase kit. I asked her to email the photos and some journaling and she obliged.

Amy’s Designs is also one of the three designers for the SNP May Mini Collab. The kit is called Jeepers Creepers and is all about backyard bug fun. The other two designers are Fit 2 Be Scrapped and Leaving a Legacy Designs. It is currently on sale for 25% off through May 21st.

Not Just Black and White

True North Scraps has a new release today. Not Just Black and White is a gorgeous all purpose kit. A kit of neutral colours, it is a kit that every scrapper should have in their stash. This unthemed kit allows you to make layout for every occasion. Because of its neutrality, you can use this kit to supplement any other kit. It’s perfect for those P52/P365 and Project Life albums we’ve all started.

Dawna made 24 patterned, subtle tone-on-tone and glitter papers, as well as over 50 elements for this kit.

To complement Not Just Black and White is Not Just Black and White Add-On. The add-on is a large mini-kit with 12 papers that are mostly negative images of the papers in the main kit which helps make your LOs coordinate that much more. I also made another 24 elements, including a very unique button frame. There are a couple elements taken from the main kit and recolored, but the majority of the elements in the Add-On are unique to it. Dawna made the add-on as a prize for the speed scrap she was hosting (and ended up being sick so Missy from Scraps by Missy volunteered to host).

Both kits are on sale at Scraps N Pieces and Heritage Scrap for 30% off until January 23rd, and they are both included in my Grand Opening 30% Off Sale at GoDigital Scrapbooking until the end of the month.

I really enjoyed working with this kit and have two layouts to share. The first is from a trip Freddy’s for lunch and frozen custard when my in-laws and nephew recently visited.

It’s a Shore Thing

This month I had the chance to work with a kit from The Scrappy Kat. I chose this beachy kit called It’s a Shore Thing. I love the blue, aqua, and tan with a hint of orange and yellow. There are a bunch of fun beach and surf elements. In addition to the kit, The Scrappy Kat has a coordinating quick page set, word art set, and add-on; however, I did not work with any of the extras.

I made a two page spread documenting playing in the sand at Castaway Cay on our Disney cruise back in January. It’s amazing to see how much Janette has changed in just eleven short months.

Tooth Story

I’m here today to tell you about a kit from Marie H Designs. Tooth Story is an adorable little kit, designed to document all the little stories regarding your children’s tooth moments. It covers everything from first tooth, to lost tooth, to braces. I especially love the adult and baby teeth charts. It happens to be in the Super Saturday Sale bin, so you can pick it up for $2 today.

I have two fun layouts about going to the dentist with Jessica and Janette at the end of September.

The first layout is about Jessica. Journaling reads: Jessica had gone to my dentist a number of times with her appointment following mine, but she never let Dr. Evans look in her mouth and barely let Melissa the hygenist brush her teeth with a regular toothbrush, so at the last visit Dr. Evans suggested it was time to change to a pediatric dentist. We decided to try Dr. Kim Hoang who opened her practice, Petite Dental ,right next door to Dr. Evans. When we arrived, Jessica said Janette could go first, but after Janette had her teeth checked out, she excitedly went off with the hygenist to have x-rays taken and then hopped right up on the seat to have her teeth cleaned. Dr. Hoang then checked out her teeth and told Jessica it was time to stop sucking her thumb.

The second layout is about Janette. Journaling reads: Today was Janette’s first ever dental check-up. She had visited my dentist before when I went in for cleanings, but this was the first time she had a check-up. Dr. Hoang had Janette sit in my lap facing me and then we lay her back so her head was in Dr. Hoang’s lap. She brushed Janette’s teeth with her new Princess Belle toothbrush. Janette did great!
