A few Saturdays ago, my friend Kristy and I attended a Copics class at Scrapology. It was a fun class and I learned a lot. Since it was class on coloring technique, we didn’t have to actually stamp anything, that was prepared in advance for us.
This first card uses a neat blotting technique on the colored teapot to give it a mottled look. At home, I added some glossy accents to give it some shine and I also used it to hold the string in place. I also added the A Muse ribbon.
The instructor was going for a Nancy Drew look for the hair here. The technique to color the little girl’s dress was blending a second color on an acetate sheet with the first color marker. This is a good technique if you don’t have many markers.
This if my favorite card of the class. It was really tough figuring out how to blend it to look natural. I’m glad the instructor offered scrap flowers to practice on. I’m really really happy with how my attempt turned out. And I picked up 2 of the colors used on this flower as part of the class fee. How cool is that?
Thanks for stopping by.
What a cute card ! Love the teapot.

I like the little girl card also. I read all of the Nancy Drew books. The flower card is pretty. You did a good j0b on all of them.
